Building on the success of the Wowsers festival, Rationale Arts were asked to deliver further mentoring and to prepare the young people at Dalton Family centre to perform in Rotherham City centre and then again on the same day at Wentworth Woodhouse. Both performances went extremely well. Rotherham City centre's was on a small stage in front of approximately 100 people whereas Wentworth Woodhouse was in front of all of the Mayors for the entire Yorkshire region and their guests (again approximately 100 people). The young people performed professionally and utilised their surrounding environment as part of their choreography. Their confidence has come along so much and even though some were nervous to begin with they faced their fears and felt empowered by doing so.
